FAQs

Are your photos altered in any way?

It is common practice for our competitors to suggest that we “colour saturate” or use “heavy actinic” in our pictures. These same people have also asked for us to supply them with stock at one point or another. We take our photos using an Olympus Model underwater camera, under equal ratios of blue to white lighting as we maintain our corals in day to day. The only adjustments we make to the pictures are to achieve a true image of what you see with the naked eye. In fact the majority of the time we have to tone down the colours because they simply look too bright!  Our corals speak for themselves as any of our existing customers will tell you…

Are there any shipping charges?

We have a minimum purchase amount of $100. There is also a $6 packing/boxing fee for all orders.and

pls pick the appropeate destination.

Can you ship to regional areas?

If you are located near a regional airport we may still be able to ship to you via our Air Freighters AAE or Toll. Shipping to regional areas will be at the purchaser’s expense and will not be covered by our free shipping offer. Please contact us prior to placing an order to confirm shipping charges.

What happens when I have placed my order? How will I know when it will arrive?

Once you have placed your order and we have received cleared funds we will contact you to arrange shipping. It is crucial that you provide accurate contact details such as email, mobile phone and home or work number to avoid delays.

Once your item has been shipped we will advise you of a consignment note number and details of the freight company and approximate due time of arrival. It is then your responsibility to contact the freight company and track your consignment to check arrival time. If there are any problems please refer to our Shipping policy page.

What happens if my order arrives dead?

We send thousands of boxes around the world each year with little to zero DOAs. If you have a problem please read our DOA policy.

What does WYSIWYG mean?

WYSIWYG stands for “What you see is what you get.” This means that the picture listed is of the actual piece of coral you will receive should you choose to purchase it.

What if I don’t see what I am looking for?

Even if you do not see what you are looking for please don’t hesitate to send us an enquiry. We may already have what you want in stock. If we do not have it in stock we are also licensed coral collectors and can always look out for that special piece you are after on our next collecting trip.

I am an international customer, why can't I complete the checkout process?

It is illegal to export coral to other countries without a permit. Currently, CDU does not ship internationally unless you are a wholesaler with an import permit. If you are interested in purchasing products from us, please send us an enquiry.
